So - is it possible to import an existing Flarum forum database to Feeflarum?

Vadim_RUNN no, it was possible for a period of time for donors, but the implementation will be completely gone when the next FreeFlarum update comes out.

@SKevo Now the update has completed, this version Freeflarum seems a lot snappier than the previous version. Excellent job as usual.

DavecUK you're welcome! But the main update came from Flarum itself, I just updated all forums to the new version, and ensured that it won't all crash (at least not for the most part). I guess that Flarum has done some optimizations in this update, which made it more responsive

orschiro I vaguely remember that there might've been an extension that did this, but I can't find it now. If it didn't exist, it's definitely possible for someone to create it, and add it to FreeFlarum afterwards

lichengkun135 I don't use Docker, but if it supports importing a database dump, it shouldn't be a problem.

First, download your FreeFlarum database dump from https://freeflarum.com/settings/forum_settings, then import it (this might help: https://stackoverflow.com/a/43887127)

SKevo Hi thanks for the information! I tried but it didn't really work as expected... I check the mariadb in the docker flarum was the same as the dumb from freeflarum but the docker flarum has no post at all? Do you know what should I do after loading the dump back? thx!

lichengkun135 clearing your cache and migrating your database should be enough after importing a Flarum dump, otherwise I don't know what might be wrong, sorry

SKevo Hi, I think I found out the reason, turns out the headers of docker flarum is different from the flarum table headers. I'm wondering if there's a way to change all the headers in the .sql dump (as well as the place in the query that uses the header, if that's the case)

lichengkun135 if by "headers" you mean table names, then have you set table prefix? If yes, set it to null, FreeFlarum uses no prefix. Also make sure that your MariaDB version matches FreeFlarum's (10.8.3). Otherwise I don't know how to help, sorry. You should probably ask in discussion for the docker container, if it has any

Equinemarkt it looks like it was for a while, now it's back up. FreeFlarum automatically restarted all services because PHP-FPM stopped responding. I will have a look at the logs to see what caused this now
