Niemi Unfortunately no one knows when beta.8 will be released, but there are a couple of ways you can keep in the loop so you are notified pretty much as it is deployed. Keep an eye on these discussions;

The exact date is not known as of yet but don't let that deter you. Establish your Flarum instance and get it ready for when the next release does take place. Installing any extensions now will prove to be difficult to update and get back into working order without some simple knowledge and know-how. We're all here to help at the same time should you need it of course.

@Sanguine shouldn't there be some kind of plan for open-source projects (with minimum requirements, of course) that make FreeFlarum ad-free? NodeBB and Discourse have plans for open-source projects, so why not FreeFlarum?

Publicly accessible on a Git host such as GitHub or GitLab
Has at least 50 stars
At least 2 contributors
At least 5 forks
